VEGETA Vegeta is my favorite character. He is the proud prince of the planet with the same name. He travels to Earth after hearing Radditz's message about the dragon balls. Vegeta, one of the most powerful fighters in the universe, couldn't stand that a lowly soldier like Goku could stand up to him. After having a draw with Goku, Vegeta returns to Frieza planet No. 79 to recover.
After recovering and learning that Frieza had left for Planet Namek, Vegeta rushes from the planet to get to namek and beat Frieza to the dragon balls. Vegeta spends most of his time on Namek waiting for a chance to steal the dragons balls from those who had it. After being defeated by Zarbon, Vegeta is sent to a healing capsule so Frieza can interrogate im to find where he hid a dragon ball. After recovering, Vegeta escapes with the five dragon balls Frieza had. But Vegeta is nearly killed when the Ginya Tokunsentai arrive, and all the dragon balls were taken.
Vegeta never gets his wish for immortality granted, but during the Android/Cell Saga, he has a child with Bulma and begins to act a little more civil. During the Buu fight, Vegeta sacrifices his life, thinking that the explosion created would finish Buu.
After Buu becomes too powerful for anyone left alive on Earth to deal with, Emma gives him another chance to fight Buu. He agrees, though he knew he didn't stand a chance. When faced with Goku and the special earrings, hje refuses to fuse, though he's eventually foced to when he sees there is no other way to win.
Vegeta, while on Kaioshin's planet, uses the Namek dragon balls to restore the Earth and all those who died when the Tenkaichi Budoukai began (except for the truly evil). As proof that Vegeta was no longer blood thirsty, he was restored to life by Porunga.
He sill wants to face Goku again to revenge the draw, even in Dragon Ball GT. He has two children with Bulma:Trunks and Bra. |

FUTURE TRUNKS One of DBZ saga's most important characters. he is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. Trunks comes from the future, where Androids 17 and 18 kill all of the Z fighters and cause havoc all over the earth. Trunks is trained by Son Gohan, the only surviving warrior. Upon arriving in our time line, he easily kills Frieza and King Cold. He keeps his identity secret from everone, exept for when he tells Goku to preserve his existence. After Cell is killed by Gohan. Trunks returs to his time and kills the androids. Trunks carries a sword given to him by Tapion. |

PICCOLO Piccolo was Goku's archenemy until the Saiyan Radditz appeared on Earth. The offspring of the original Piccolo Daimoa, Piccolo teamed with Goku to overcome Radditz's power. After killing Radditz and Goku, Piccolo took Goku's son, Gohan, to train him for the arrival of the Saiyans. Gohan's innoncence transformed Piccolo from a demon to a noble warrior. After Cell arrives, Piccolo again teamed with Kamesama and became the strongest fighter. In Dragon Ball GT, he decides to die - because he loves his home so much - when the Earth explodes. But when Goku was trapped in hel during the Super 17 saga, Piccolo asked Lord Enma to be sent to hell to help. He spent the rest of eternity in hell. |

GOHAN The son of Goku, Gohan exelled in both fighting and studying. After the battle with Raditz, he is taken by Piccolo to train for the arrival of the other saiyans. His innocence changed Piccolo from a demon into a good and courageous person. Gohan's power comes from anger - basically, the angrier he is, the stronger he is. The first to transform into Super Saiyan 2, Gohan was able to kill Cell. After defeating Cell, he stopped training to study and attend high school. When Buu appeared, he was once again forced to battle. MAJIN BUU Majin Buu is the final and most powerful villian in Dragon Ball Z. He is a demon created from magic by Bibi-Dee. Buu was sealed away by Bibi-Dee due to how uncontrollable he was. In the final chapter of DBZ, Babi-Dee and Dabura gather enough energy to resurrect him. Buu was responsible for the death of almost every Earthling, and destroys the Earth itself. During the Buu Saga, he undergoes six transformations that occurred for reasons such as absorbtion and removal of good and evil from within. Untrusting, the entire Earth didn't help until Mr. Satan screamed for them to. Thinking that it was Mr. Satan fighting Buu, the whole Earth donated their energy, creating a huge spirit bomb. With it, Goku finally killed Buu.
GOTENKS He is Trunks and Goten fused together. Gotenks reaches Super Saiyan 3, and appears in the Buu saga.
VEGETTO Vegetto is Goku and Vegeta fused the first time. He is in DBZ during the Buu saga, and is very powerful.
GOGETA He is Goku and Vegeta fused together for the second time. Gogeta only appears in DBGT, and transforms into Super Saiyan 4.
CELL Dr. Gero's master creation, Cell is supposed to be the perfect fighter, created from the cells of the universe's greatest fighters. The project takes too long to be completed during Dr. Gero's lifetime, but the doctor's computer completes the project on its own. Cell is Dr. Gero's 21st Jinzonigen. In short, he is Android 21. In the future, he kills Future Future Trunks (Cell came 20 years from the future where Trunks came 10 years) and takes his time machine, returning to when Trunks first arrived. His first form is reptilian like, while his second is more human but retains some of the lizard qualities. Upon reaching perfection, Cell looks much more human. He is eventually killed by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form.
FREIZA Frieza is one of the most important, if not the most important, villians in DBZ. He destroys practically all of the Saiyan race, their home planet, and many others. He goes to Planet Namek in search of the dragon balls after hearing Radditz's message in the beginning of the series. He has multiple forms, used to keep his true power hidden. The first is short and has a tough-guy appearance. The second is much taller and looks kind of like his father. The third form looks like the queen in the movie Aliens. His fourth and final form is short and much better for fighting. After being defeated by Son Goku, his is rebuilt by his father and travels to Earth, only to be killed by Future Trunks. He is killed again the 12th movie, this time by the great Saiyaman Gohan.
GOKU The main character of DBZ GT, Goku originally was sent to Earth to clear it off for purchase. The memory of his mission was lost when he fell off a cliff. After that, he became a loving child and courageous person. Compared to all the other characters, he has the most abilities and strength. He marries Chichi and has two sons, Gohan and Goten. Throughout the DBZ series, Goku undergoes three Super Saiyan transformations: in the Frieza fight after Krillin was killed (changing his hair and eyebrows from black to gold and his eyes to green); after the Cell fight (hair more defined and hard, and three instead of five strands of hair over his face); the Super Saiyan 3 transformation in the after life (no eyebrows, thicker hair, eyes more defined). In Dragon Ball GT, Goku is transformed back into a kid by the black star dragon balls, and reaches the final and true form: Super Saiyan 4. Whether Goku ever died is unknown, since it appeared that in the final episode of Dragon Ball GT, he merged with Shenron. |
